Nelly Photographer

It feels like its been years since I've posted anything on my blog. Well, I'm back. And currently, I'm using Nikon D300 with Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG.

A couple days ago, on our trip to Odessa, Ukraine, I got the chance to do a mini-photoshoot of my good friend and a talented, young photography - Nelly, also known as Nelly Photographer (www.NellyPhotographer.blogspot.com)

For the shoot, I used her equipment - Nikon D90 with Nikkor 35mm f/1.8. Hope you like them!

Nik + Tanya

When Tanya's mother came up to me, asking me for a huge favor, I couldn't say no. Tanya was raised with out a father. Her family has had a lot of rough times and they couldn't afford a big wedding.

There wasn't going to be hundreds of wedding guests, thousands of flowers and a huge wedding cake. In fact, there wasnt even going to be a wedding banquet.

Knowing all this, the least I could do, was take pictures of this couple. Hoping that someday, looking back at these pictures, they will tell of their wedding story to their grandkids.

There wasn't much time or much equipment to work with, but I tried my best. I hope you enjoy these pictures!

Camp Exodus

Just last week, I was in Camp "Exodus" 2010. This 1 1/2 weeks of camping and just hanging out with friends was so much fun, that already, I want to go back. Throughout this whole camp, I tried to capture some interesting images, so that through these pictures, you would feel as if in you were there.

Water Baptism

A couple weeks ago, our church had a water baptism. And although I'm not much of a journalistic photographer and/or enjoy event(s) photography, at this event, I got the chance to use the Nikon D200 with that amazing lens once again. And once I got that camera in my hands, my focus went from water baptism to everything I saw that interested me. Hopefully you like some of these imagaes I have captured.
