Today, I had the chance to photograph the "Sip & Scan" event at Macy's of Roseville. Basically, about 35 couples came in to Macy's and registered for their weddings. But on top of that, Macy's had vendors come in and advertise themselves. From florists, to caterers, to DJ's, etc.
Luckily, I was one of the vendors. I set-up by table with my computer and business cards and played this little video clip to advertise myself.
To be honest, I had lots of fun photographing the event and meeting new people and talking to all the couples. Hopefully, it spreads the word about "Envy Me Photography". Enjoy the video!

Save Darfur
A couple of weeks ago, one of my now friends messaged me in Facebook, asking me to do a photo shoot. A photo shoot that would support a charity called "Save Darfur", that would bring peace for all Sudan, protection of civilians, and justice and accountability for the crimes committed. On top of that, we had to represent the clothes and brand name of "Urban Outfitters".
With that set in our minds, we decided to choose backgrounds that I was familiar with. We headed to downtown Sacramento and started walking. I swear, we walked about 5-6 blocks in between each scene and background. But I think we got some amazing shots and I hope my dear friend Elishia is satisfied with the results.

Mpix Pro
Ever since I started looking at photography magazines and reading about the best photographers in the world, I kept hearing them refer to Mpix Pro - a printing company.
Well last week, I finally decided to check them out and boy was I amazed. All the printing that they do is just amazing. From canvas prints to photo books to posters to printed DVD's.
Taking a quick look at their catalog, right there and then, I knew I wouldn't want to work with anyone but Mpix Pro.
As soon as I applied to become their client, they sent me a package welcoming me to Mpix Pro, including their catalog and 5 test prints, to ensure that what I'm seeing on the screen is exactly what they're printing. And I have to say, I love it!

Envy Me Photography
Yes, it is true! I am finally and officially a photographer. And for a year or so, I've been wanting to change my brand name to "Envy Me Photography". A name I thought of months and months ago.
Many of you have asked what the name stands for and/or what it means. The time has come to share my thoughts and ideas with you.
I love photography with passion. When I pick up that camera, I want to create art and capture unforgettable memories - memories that will last a lifetime. That when time passes by and years later, you will look back at the photographs, you will relive the moment. Images so great and amazing, people will envy you.
