Finally having a day off from work, I knew it was time to take pics with my camera. With that said, my family and I went to downtown Sac and just hung out. I took lots of pics, but my focus was on my little sister, Julia.
Once you pick up that camera and tell her to smile, she just poses the way no one else could. She's definitely meant to be a model. I loved working with her and I think we got some cool pics. Don't you think?

Dramatic Sunset
These couple of days in Sacramento, its been pouring rain. The sun would come out for a second or two, then hide behind the fearful clouds. I've been waiting days for the rain to stop, so I could take pictures of the sunset, knowing it would be pretty dramatic after so much rain.
And finally, it stopped raining. And around 4pm, I started driving to my spot to set-up for my shoot. But the funniest part of this shoot was that I didn't have a tripod, so I used my car and everything else to shoot all these pictures. What won't you do for that one picture?

Red Barn + Ilona
Today, Ilona and I went to Gibson Ranch, where there's lots of nature-like scenes, Ilona's favorite. As soon as we started walking on the trail, I realized how different Ilona and I are. She loves taking pictures in the nature, when I love taking pictures with red walls and city-like scenes in the background.
And finally, there it was; a huge bright, red barn. Right off the bat, I knew I had to stop and take a couple pictures. I was alive once again! Enjoy.

Baseline Sunset
On the way back home from a church service, the sun was always shining bright into the windshield of my car. I was trying to avoid it, but there was no way that was going to happen.
Suddenly, I realized that the sun was setting really quickly and I thought, why not take a couple pictures. And as soon as you turn from Pleasant Grove to Baseline, on your left is going to be miles of beautiful fields and trees. I quickly parked my car, ran across, and started shooting.
Even though it was my first time shooting a sunset, it turned out quite well. Hope you like them! The last one is my favorite. And please, comment. I want to here your criticism :)

Ilona :: Photographer's Date
This Monday, I met Ilona in person for the first time. Knowing each other from Facebook and mutual friends, we decided it was time to set a date for a photoshoot. A photoshoot, where we would take photo's of each other. But things worked out best for Ilona, so I ended up shooting her with her own Nikon D90 and a Nikkor 35mm.
The minute we started shooting, we clicked. Discussing our so many differences, like what we shoot, where, and how, we were amazed how yet, we got along.
We started in a full-of-nature park scene, where there's lots of green and nature-like colors, Ilona's favorite. Then, we moved on to a scene I was more comfortable with. Located by the Galleria Mall, my favorite restaurant, Il Fornaio. Taking these shots, the feeling of being in Italy was portrayed.
Anyway, I hope you like them. Because, I do.
